Read.fm wants to help us learn to read more language. We're making a tool that we hope will help us do that. It's twin text for language learners. It's called twext. In theory, twext can work between many languages. In practice, we need to test in one bilingual market. So we're now testing betwixt english and español. The test is called "escuelaschool". It's based in the bilingual community of San Miguel de Allende, in the state of Guanajuato, in the country of Mexico. But anyone on the internet can try it now. If the test works, then twext might grow to serve between more languages. If so, then twext might attract a growing network of language traders. |
